Mess up your progression in Arc Raiders and you'll feel it straight away—usually when you're overloaded, out of breath, and staring at a long run to extraction. I started paying attention once I realised the "small" stat choices decide which routes you can even take, what doors you can open, and how long you can stay in a hot zone before you're forced to bail. If you're planning your runs around loot, it helps to know what you're chasing and why, whether that's rare crafting bits, clean weapons, or specific ARC Raiders Items that make the next raid less of a gamble.
PvE Loot-First Setup
If your main goal is to vacuum up valuables and leave without drama, build around Survival. People talk about "comfort stats," but this one's pure access. Push Survival to about 39 so you can keep Security Breach online and stop walking past locked security doors like they don't matter. They matter. Those rooms are where the runs swing from "okay" to "worth it." That said, don't go full brain-off and neglect Conditioning. Around 20 points is the difference between sprinting with a heavy pack and doing that sad jog while your stamina bar gasps for air. You'll notice it most when you're hauling dense loot and you've got to cross open ground fast.
PvP Pressure Build
Not everyone wants to loot. Some folks would rather let other Raiders do the scavenging, then take it off them. If that's you, Mobility is the point sink. Aim roughly 37 points and you'll feel "slippery" in fights—harder to track, quicker to reposition, better at forcing bad angles. It doesn't magically win gunfights, but it gives you more chances to reset and re-peek on your terms. The trade-off is obvious: fewer utility perks, fewer locked-door plays, less map control through access. You're betting on mechanics, timing, and picking fights you can finish.
The Reliable Middle Ground
Most players end up happier with a hybrid because raids rarely stay "pure PvE" or "pure PvP" for long. Keep Survival around 37 so Security Breach stays in your pocket, then split the rest—about 19 into Conditioning and 19 into Mobility. That mix lets you grab the good rooms, move like a normal human when bullets start flying, and still make distance when your inventory is stacked. Perks like Carry the Momentum help you keep stamina after evasive moves, and Loaded Arms takes the edge off the slow-down from heavy gear. When you can fight, flee, and loot without feeling boxed in, you'll extract more often—and you'll have more freedom to plan routes, decide engagements, and even buy ARC Raiders Items when you want your loadout ready before the next drop.
